The mission of Homeownership Programs is to provide affordable housing opportunities by offering below market interest rate mortgage programs to very low-to-moderate income first-time homebuyers. There are several unique features and programs offered which may fit the need of the prospective buyer. To participate in CalHFA Homeownership Programs, lenders are required to execute a Mortgage Purchase and Servicing Agreement. This agreement references the policies and procedures stated in the Lender Program Manual, the Servicer's Guide, Program Bulletins and announcements issued by the Agency.

Loan reservations may only be submitted to CalHFA by CalHFA-Approved Lenders who have access to the Lender Access System (LAS). Lenders and/or Brokers interested in participating in CalHFA Homeownership Programs can submit an information request. Choose the appropriate option below to get more information.
